POSITION:  Sales Rep - government contracting

Technology Mix is looking for experienced Sales Reps to join our sales team. The ideal candidate is one who has a passion for selling and a demonstrated record of prospecting, closing and growing new business. You must be comfortable making cold calls and following-up on leads. You must be energetic, articulate, eager, ambitious and experience with selling over the phone and in person.  Knowledge of the government (state and federal) contracting process is preferred.

You will utilize your skills and know-how to locate government opportunities (Solicitations & RFPs) suitable for the Technology Consulting services provided by Technology Mix.  You will also assist with proposal preparation, attend review meetings, and follow-up with agencies.

We have re-launched our Technology Consulting Services and will be utilizing our vast knowledge and expertise to help government agencies design and develop software applications, evaluate software & systems needs, provide consulting services for software & systems vendor selection, as well as implement an array of software and systems solutions.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of the government contracting process
- Must be able to review RFP for relevance to Technology Mix's consulting services
- Must know how to prospect for new contracting opportunities
- Detail-oriented with impeccable follow-through
- Self Motivated
- Good communication skills; oral and written

Requirements and Compensation
- At least 1 year of government contracting sales
- Knowledge of State & Federal government contracting process
- Must have phone, computer, and internet connection
- Must have excellent written and oral communication

Compensation includes commission plus bonuses
